Testing the lighting and computer effects

The original footage.. The edited footage.. As part of our planning we decided to go to our location with a camera and film a brief part of the opening roughly. We then went back and edited the footage with the computer effects to make it look darker as we want to do with the real film opening. We found that as we went out on a sunny day, the sunlight was very hard to edit and make it look darker. We will therefore take this into consideration when filming our finished project. This experiment also gave us an indication as to where that characters should be positioned in this scene.
